Muscat: Muscat Municipality completed its routine maintenance work and turned on the Muscat Sign on Al Jabal Street (Bausher-Al Amerat Mountain Road).
Muscat Municipality had as announced the temporary suspension of the 'Muscat Sign' lights on August 5 to carry out necessary periodic maintenance work.
The Muscat Municipality unveiled the 'Muscat Sign' project in November 2024 as a new addition to the capital's landmarks.
Located at the top of the mountain, the project features illuminated letters 16 meters high and 42 meters wide.
The lighting can be seen from a distance along the Muscat Expressway and also from some areas around Sultan Qaboos Street.
The technology used in the project allows the lighting colors to change according to different occasions, adding a festive touch and enhancing the beauty of the capital
